Following the presentation and market launch of the innovative MMX mixing system in the first of our Gerhardt OCX coffee machines around 5 years ago, this hardware is now being replaced by a successor system!
Although we once received a lot of praise and innovation awards as well as extensive patents for the innovative idea of the closed mixing-mix process, we decided to take this step.
The product results achieved by our MMX mixing system were always very good. However, the small size of the system and the associated increased service effort for cleaning the assembly, as well as the sensitivity to high humidity, led to an increased inspection frequency in some cases.
In close consultation with our customers, we will once again be focussing on an open "classic" mixing system that combines maximum functionality, effortless cleaning and service times with flawless product quality.
The successor system "MX2" will go into series production in April.
