Doing good better.
"Being good is no guaranty of success. You've always to be better to succeed."
"If you´re not enterprising, you won't achieve anywhere. Well, I'm an entrepreneur."
This favourite saying of our father, Jakob Gerhardt accompanied us as we grew up. It was one we gladly adopted, because it states things plainly: "If you want to be successful, you have to work for it." We learnt something else from our father: Quality is a winning formula. It may be the more difficult course, but it is also the one with a future. Quality, after all, just doesn't happen somehow, you have to want it — and actively do something to achieve it. Which is why quality is the basis for the way we think and work. And it is something more: we regard quality as a dynamic process. Even as we develop something that is good, we already start thinking about how we could improve upon it. For, in the international markets that are becoming increasingly important to us, we are up against stiff competition with our quality products and philosophy: "Good" is not good enough in the long run, "best" is best for success.
